That always seemd to cure my cough symptoms when I was little.

I have sympathy with the spicy food suggestion though. A quick Bradford curry is good at clearing out all sorts of passages:)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14448822.post-1143067136017059112006-03-23T07:38:00.000+09:002006-03-23T07:38:00.000+09:00if you're all stuffed up, I recommend eating reall...if you're all stuffed up, I recommend eating really spicy food - really spicy ramen noodles or thai tom yang (sp??) spicy soup. Get that nose running and clear some passages. Super spicy curry, etc. I'm just starting to get a cold myself, so I'm having some beef and 2 bean chili tonight. Not as good as ramen, but that's hard to come by in Toronto. Did find a restaurant called "Izakaya" so Brian and I ordered take-out ramen and it was pretty authentic. Not as good as the ramen I had in some restaurants in Tokyo, though. Note: although this restaurant is called "Izakaya" it has only a quarter of the food normally offered in izakayas in Japan. Hope you feel better soon!!Nataliehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06319053882902203629noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14448822.post-1143023189867577932006-03-22T19:26:00.000+09:002006-03-22T19:26:00.000+09:00j-ster - tried the renkon chips yesterday. tasted...j-ster - tried the renkon chips yesterday. tasted way better than i thought they (not that i doubted the renkon or you; just doubted my own ability with a frying pan and oil)
am feeling better than i was - still not 100% though....someday recommended hot cola with ginger...maybe i will try that next...or not...

arumanda - thank you too. am odaiji-ing with spirit & foxiness...MissSinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14419657893021200676noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14448822.post-1142917542216837502006-03-21T14:05:00.000+09:002006-03-21T14:05:00.000+09:00and it's yummy.perhaps being happy helps. i always...and it's yummy.

perhaps being happy helps. i always get sick when i'm not right with the world.

i hope you get better soon. odaiji ni little heren.

ps. can't tell you the amount of times people have thought themselves comic genius' by stepping on my foot and noting that they were trying to protect me from the spider. mind numbingly boring. rant all you like. i hear ya!arumandahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02960054433428848729noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14448822.post-1142859361119713852006-03-20T21:56:00.000+09:002006-03-20T21:56:00.000+09:00I recommend renkon. However you cook it (maybe simple is best, just fry some up in olive oil and think of it as chips) it will soothe your throat like you wouldnt believe. I got that from a very good osteopath in shinjuku and swear by it!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
